Why did you become a health consultant?

My experience with cancer lead me to become a healthier, happier, more confident purpose-driven person. I saw a lot of people going through their own crises and I knew that I could help them not only get better, but gain value from the experience.

What’s your favorite thing about being a therapist?

Everyday I get a chance to work on myself by supporting other people. It’s an intense experience and really keeps me on top of my own work. It’s very gratifying and gives me a chance to grow at the same time.

What’s your favorite food/meal?

I love scrambled eggs and bacon.

What’s your favorite recipe?

It’s real simple. Water sauteed kale or collard greens, take off heat, add toasted sesame oil and Braggs Liquid Amino. I can eat many servings!

What’s your favorite quote?

Right now it’s “If nothing changes, nothing changes”.

What’s your favorite book?

Just finished a great one. Iron John by Robert Bly.

What’s your favorite movie?

I like a lot of movies. I loved Step Brothers this past year. Not very serious would be an understatement.

Who has had the most influence on your life?

Life and whoever is organizing it.

What do you do when you’re not at SanaVita?

Play basketball, watch sports.

Which supplements do you find indispensable in your own life?

Homeopathic remedies, protein powder and probiotics.

How do you like to cleanse when you’re cleansing?

I like to use herbs or homeopathics and eliminate gluten. I also get colonics.

How do you like to indulge, when you do?

I like ice cream and tequila, not together though.

If you had to give only one piece of health advice, what would it be?

Confront your life. Whatever is giving you the most stress is the source of your health problems.
